![]() Microsoft says SLI works in UWP but is a complete lie, you can download FFXV playable demo from Windows Store and Steam version, and try an SLI profile: Steam version (win32 API) has SLI working in FullScreen, while Windows Store version has 0 increase (the same issue as if you run steam version in windowed borderless). No SLI support because no Fullscreen support: SLI cannot work in windowed borderless mode because SLI need exclusive fullscreen. ![]() Not Fullscreen screen support, only windowed borderless is supported: means fps drops, stuttering issues, V-sync always on (although this was fixed and you can turn v-sync off after lastest windows updates). ![]() I do not want to expand on the subject, so basically I mention the cons: In games it supports both, dx11 and dx12 games, (SoD2 is a dx11 game developed with UE4). All you get outside Windows Store is win32 compiled, and all you get from Windows Store is compiled in UWP. UWP aka Universal Windows Platform, is the new API designed for Windows 10, windows mobiles, Xbox devices, etc that aims to replace win32 api. Playing at 4320x1920 (4k 21/9) i can maintain 120fps stable.įor now i'm liking the game but i cannot play at max settings since SLI is not supported in UWP apps. ResolutionSizeX=4320 (put your desired resolution) Just go Users/your user/appdata/local/packages/microsoft.dayton./localstate/stateofdecay2/Saved/Config/UWP/Īs many other UE games you can modify settings, increase FOV etc.įor now i have modified these files (just copy/paste and modify by (resolution scalability, you can upscale or downscale) Well, i know this is Steam but i fanally decided to buy Windows Store version and take a look.įor now, SLI is not supported, but i found a way to improve performance: ![]()
